Drawing is a delicate technical operation requiring skill and precision. In order to best work with the various metals, we have high-performance equipment combined with 90-year know-how.
Tube drawing is a process for processing various materials, such as copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel, in order to obtain specific diameters and thicknesses with tight tolerances as well as particular mechanical characteristics.
This drawing technique also allows us to produce unlimited variety of shapes (square, rectangular, oblong).
Our ability to manufacture tubes with an external diameter of 1 to 30 mm allows us to respond to numerous requests.
We adapt the process depending on the properties of the material and the requirements of the final product.
Tube drawing involves several steps:
1. We prepare the tube by creating a drawing silk at one end to allow the tube to be introduced into the die.
2. The tube thus prepared is stretched through a die.
If necessary, a ball or mandrel is introduced into the tube, which will make it possible to reduce and/or calibrate the internal diameter.
Our experience has allowed us to acquire a large number of dies, balls and mandrels, now covering our entire dimensional range.
3. After the drawing process is complete, the tube is straightened and degreased.
Tube drawing is used in a wide variety of industrial sectors to produce parts of specific shapes and precise sizes, thanks to its ability to improve the mechanical properties of the material while offering high dimensional accuracy.
We respond in maximum 48 hours if the raw material is available.
We study each of your projects on a case-by-case basis. We can produce from one unit, up to several hundreds of thousands of tubes.
Yes, it is even our core business at TUBEXACT. We study the feasibility of the parts based on your plans.
Yes, we have a panel of subcontractors qualified in different forms of treatment: zinc plating, tinning, nickel plating, alogine, surtec etc.)
Send your price request preferably by email or phone. Whether feasibility is possible or not, an answer will be sent to you quickly (48 hours maximum).
Delivery times for Tubexact tubes vary depending on the complexity of the order and the availability of material stocks.
